For those of you just tuning in , It has come to my attention that there is a water leak on all 95-96 Tahoes Yukons and Surburbans. To check your truck just simply remove the door sills on the rear driver and passenger (this problem seems to affect 4 doors only) doors and put your hand under the carpet. You will see that it is soaked with water. This leak comes from a plugged hole that is in the inside of the rear wheel wells. This hole is in the top center and it is used in production of the truck. It supports the vehicle as it moves along the assembly line before its mounted to a chasis. To repair just clean out the bad sealant around the hole and reseal. Myself I am going to add some rubberized undercoating to both wheelwells to make sure it dosent leak again. As for this leak, water goes into the bad seal and comes up to the inside of the truck behind the door. You will see a little pocket and water pools in the hole and then overflows thru the bolt that holds the lower seatbelt in. You will see the water marks as drips along the body. I also had 3 hands full of dirt there also and I simulated the leak with a hose  and it is a big leak. Water just cascades in thru the hole, overflows and runs mostly into the elevated bed portion but some runs into the lower floor. As for water the entire bed was soaked. I removed the entire inside from the rear of my truck and the fabric passing was totally soaked all over. Rust was starting to form so i painted it with rust paint and will install sound pads for padding. This problem should be taken care of ASAP due to the rust factor. In 5-10 years the entire bed will be rotted out…. I would like everyone who has a 95-96 Tahoe Yukon or Surburban to check their trucks and let me know    (1) Year and type of truck   (2)  Where it is leaking from…. Left or right side seatbelt bolt…  And if you do have this problem  Please email me if you would like to participate in some type of action against GM/GMC. A friend of mine was told the dealer will do nothing for this problem. Even after he pointed it out to 2 other Tahoes that were comming in for service. I would like this to be some type of a recall because this affects a supposed large amount of vehicles.. Thanks George Davino
