Sure if the sensor is pushed away from the interruptor (tone wheel) the air gap is large enough to cause the sensor to run out of range. Have a great one! Ian, Thanks for your input. I saw an older post that you did and I just wanted to make sure the same fix for Sensor/Hub can be used on the new body pick-up as well. Whats’s the deal with the rotors on this truck. Although it isn’t the cause on the ABS problem, they sure are rusty, in fact the surface flaked on one of them! I haven’t ever seen rust on rotors like this before. Its only a 99 w/25K miles. It wasn’t used for a month, but this is crazy! About all that you can do is take the sensor off and see if you do have a buildup of corrosion.  It will be a trial and error procedure basically.  > Whats’s the deal with the rotors on this truck. Yep, I’ve noticed that the new style trucks do have issues with the rotors rusting.  The brake pads on these trucks, (especially the front pads) last forever, and you actually begin to have corrosion/sticking problems with the pads long before they wear out.  I’ve done a number of brake jobs on these trucks where the rotors were badly rusted and the shoes, although they had plenty of meat left, had badly grooved and rutted surfaces from the rotor. Probably GM saving some money and using cheap rotors. Ian

Good advice as usual Ian, around here the shop I help out p/t in, is the only one aroud that is doing this rather than replace the bearing ass’y.

Well…I will admit that when we first encountered the problem, we just replaced the bearing assembly until we figured out what was going on.  If I recall correctly….at that particular time, you couldn’t get the sensors separately from the bearing assembly, even though it was very obvious from looking at it, that it could be removed. Eventually, GM released the sensor separately and a bulletin outlining the rust problem.  I’ve noticed that all the late model versions of these sensor/bearing assemblies now use a small stainless steel plate as the surface that  the sensor sits on.  Obviously an attempt to keep corrosion problems down around the sensor area…..and it seems to be working, as these problems have dropped off lately. I have a 99 GMC Sierra (new body)w/25K miles, when I am braking at slower speeds(under 5mph), the ABS comes on, the ABS light does not come on. I took it to the dealer and they told me I needed four new rotors. For a $1000.00 they said they would try this to see if it works. So I decied to do this myself. I pulled the front rotors, they were indeed rusty, Pep Boys wouldn’t touch them so I ordered new ones and will put them on this weekend. I will try the front rotors first, see if this fixes it. When I looked at my reciept from the dealer, I noticed that the tech who read the codes said the L/F sensor was open…The dealer did not mection this as a fix. After reading several post, for older body trucks, it mentioned that cleaning the ABS sensor area would fix this problem 95% of the time. Is this true for new body trucks as well? I noticed the sensor seems to be mounted in a hole that is drilled into the bearing housing, seems easy enough to clean. Any thoughts? Thanks

This will probably fix your problem.  You need to clean the surface of the bearing housing where the sensor attaches to it.  What happens is that the rust and corrosion will actually push the sensor away from the reluctor and you will get a "dropping out" of the sensor signal at low speeds.  This translates into ABS activation as the computer "thinks" that it is seeing an ABS event.  No ABS diagnostic light will appear as it’s perfectly normal for the ABS to see one wheel "lockup" under low traction conditions.  It just doesn’t know that it’s "not" a low traction condition….but a sensor problem. Replacing the rotors won’t have anything to do with this problem. Other then make somebody a little richer. Ian

You can buy the ‘brass insert’ caps and rotors at any good auto parts store (I use NAPA) or you can buy MSD or some other high perf. brand. But, it won’t d any good to replace the cap and rotor unless you put in a hotter coil and low resistance (about 500 ohm) ignition wires.  The whole idea is to get a hotter spark.  Incidently, I’d stick with AC Rapidfire plugs, because they work.  I’ve tried the Splitfire and they were a joke.  I’ve also tried the Bosch with the four wires and they weren’t much better.

I’ve installed Poweraid brand spacers in my ‘90 z71 and my dad’s ‘94 c1500. The hardest part of the installation was dealing with the fuel lines, which kept the throttle body from being both raised and level in its elevated position. The hard lines are usually clipped somewhere on the transmission, which makes it even harder for the line to give any play. I wasn’t aware of any fuel line extensions (which would’ve worked perfectly) available at the time, so I basically had to muscle the lines and throttle body to give enough to bolt everything down. I snapped the lines out of their clips, fenagled everything to fit, then snapped them back in.  Another thing I noticed would be an issue is the spacer working with certain aftermarket air intakes. I have a Volant and my dad’s intake is stock, and both have flexible joints that allow the cold air portion to stick to the fender wall while the rest of the intake raises up to the spacer level. I’ve seen one intake system that was pretty much a solid one piece, which means once the throttle body is lifted, the intake is no longer lined up with the fender wall.  Hope this helps. — ‘88 Honda CBR600F ‘90 Chevy Z71 Sportside ‘76 Honda XL175 MSN: Tzihuac AIM: JokeHeros

There are a number of ways that you can imprve the performance of your engine without tearing into the engine.  You can beef up the ignition by installing a high-output coil, low resistance ignition wires (about 500 ohm) and cap and rotor with brass inserts instead of the factory zinc alloy.  You can also install an ASP underdrive pulley on your crank (Smmit $65).  The pulley drives your accessories at a lower speed, saving horsepower.   If you beef up your ignition, you can use one of the oldest tricks in the book – open up the gap on your spark plugs.  One of the auto mags did an article on cheap performance boosters (in the 1990’s) and they found that beefing up the ignition and opening the gap by .010 inches gave a noticeable boost in performance.  I tried it on my truck (1990 5.7 L) about 6 years ago and it has worked fine ever since.  You will encounter problems if you go much over the .010 in increase.  I tried it at .015 over and it worked ok but started hard in the winter and at .020 over, the truck refused to start in any weather (I like to experiment sometimes).   You can also go with a proven winner by installing an electrc fan if it doesn’t already have one.  I know that Flex-A-Lite has just begun marketing a fan that is specifically made for the GM 350 engine but I can’t locate a source for it.  I found that works on one vehicle usually, but not always, works on another.  Sometimes, you just have to experiment to find out what works. >Was it easy to install? it depends on what you call killing your wallet… summit racing has Edelbrock’s EDL-3704 TBI intake manifold for $219…. they also have afterburner full length headers for 88-98 C or K trucks for ~140 bucks and the O2 bung equipped Y pipe for an additional  $100.  those are the two things next in line for my ‘88 K2500. -Bret – Hide quoted text — Show quoted text -> Was it easy to install? well….. the answer is sometimes… they’re no different than carb spacers, they alter the tuning of the intake manifold by increasing plenum volume. on a bone stock tbi chevy, I’ve seen dyno tests on shows (I *think* it was Trucks! or HorsepowerTV) that show a small (5hp or so) gain (again, on a TBI Chevy).  if your motor isn’t stock, than it may or may not help, you’d just have to try one.  no they don’t affect the computer, cost seems to be around 70-80 bucks… worth it? a definate maybe. the thing I find hilarious is the "diesel throttle body spacers" as a diesel doesn’t even have a f*****g throttle body or even throttle blades. Need Help to Help Myself! GMC 4×4

Question:

I need a bit of guidance to assist me with rebuilding my rear 1 ton differencial. The truck is a 1981 GMC Sierra, I don’t think the running gear is stock…regardless I’m hoping the process is similar for all GMC/Chev 1 ton & Dayna60 rear axles? My girlfriend works at an autoparts store,  I can get a diff kit for about $80 Canadian… the estimates I have gotten at automotive shops have been about $1400…. this I find rediculous. I’m gonna do it myself ! Damn their oily hides…Grrrr.. Anyways, moving right along…   I would like instruction so I don’t wreck anything or find myself not able to get something apart (without breaking it that is..) Any Information would be greatly appreciated. James

The only advice I can give you is to shop around and get a price for the labor (probably less then $500).  You buy the parts and let a shop do the rebuild for you.  It is not an easy job.  It takes a real talent and even then it will be a full days work for a master and a helper.  No non-mechanic that I know has been able to do one and get it right. I find it hard to believe you are going to get the gear sets, all bearings, both half-shafts and seals for $80 CD.  I bet the $1400 they quoted you was for a total rebuild including the half-shafts, seals, gear sets and all bearings.  If so then this is not a bad price (well maybe a little high but not bad).  As far as instruction, well go buy a book there are too many steps to write into a text message and the pictures are worth a thousand words.  You may consider just going to a junk yard and getting a used axle. It probably will be cheaper in the end and a lot less work.  I have posted a link to junk yards that have their inventory on line.  Do a search for one in your area. This way it is factory build and you and a friend can be done in a few hours.  The junk yard will take the old axle (for free) with no problems.  It’s not the answer you wanted but it is good advice. Oh and if you go to shops that only work on trucks you may find the price to be better.  Small automotive shops don’t this kind of work normally so they may consider this to be a premium service.  A truck shop would do this type of work everyday and to them it as common as an oil change. good luck, mark http://www.car-part.com/

Those bastards!  Wanting to charge you 1400 to overhaul a Dana rear end….unbelievable!  And those are such an "easy" rear end to rebuild. >   I would like instruction so I don’t wreck anything or find myself not able > to get something apart (without breaking it that is..) Don’t worry about instructions…..it’s a piece of cake. Just start ripping and tearing and you will have yourself a freshly overhauled rear axle in no time flat.  Damn those automotive shops for trying to "steal" your money.  Bastards! Ian

Yep, do it yourself, I hope you have a bunch of spare parts laying around. Personally I think a good gear shop has a bunch of voodoo priests in the back. I hate gear work because it is VERY EASY to screw up a gear set. I also hope you have a lot of the special tools needed already since those will cost you around 500.00 bucks alone. Have fun — Steve

Help With Tire Inflation

Question:

I need some help here.  I just bought a 2003 GMC Sierra 2500HD longbed, extended cab, 4X4.  The door sticker claims that the proper inflation for my tires is 55 PSI front and 80PSI rear.  The tires are Bridgestone radials. This strikes me as being exceedingly high.  Can someone help? Steven Pettijohn

Response:

Steven, This is the correct pressure for a heavy duty truck.  Imagine it being loaded down with 1/2 ton or more of rocks and 35-40 psi tires would look flat.  If you want to be doubly sure, check your tires, their max pressure should be 80 psi cold. Enjoy Bill

2000 GMC Sierra 4×4

Question:

Hello, Should the front drive shaft on my 2000 GMC Sierra 4×4 be free to turn when in 2 wdrive, like it used to be on my old 84 Blazer. On this  2000 Sierra I have automatic transfter case with pushbutton electronic control. While doing oil last week I was parked with 2 hi and tried to spin front shaft, but it could not. Is this a problem. Light on the dash indicate that I am in 2 Hi and while driving there is no typical noises from the front as I am in 4 hi. Ziggie.

No, this is not a problem…..this is the way that the automatic transfer cases work.  In your truck, the transfer case uses a clutch pack to engage the front driveshaft.  The clutch pack is always slightly preloaded (5%) so you will always see the front driveshaft spinning, even in 2HI.  In fact, if it doesn’t spin, you have problems. Duramax in a suburban? 04. . .05 . . .when?

Question:

Evan: Rumors have a Duramax Suburban in 05, but there is some question as to whether it will be a 6.6 liter like the Silverado/Sierra Duramax, or something smaller, possibly a V6.  If the engine is downsized, it will be able to get away with using the existing automatic transmission, and will not need an Allison. And I agree with you on the diesels.  I have 3 vehicles, a Duramax Allison GMC pickup, a 20 year old Mercedes diesel, and a 12 year old gasoline v-8 Infiniti.  The Mercedes is a bit underpowered, but gets 27 mpg for a 4000 lb car.  The pickup weighs in at around 7000 lbs, but it gets 18 mpg in local driving, and 20-21 over the road (not pulling a trailer).  The Infiniti also weighs around 4000 lbs, and its gets around 17 mpg around town, and around 21 on the open road. Regarding the pickup, I know someone who has almost the same truck with the 8.1 gas engine.  Mileage is approx. 10 mpg around town and 12 on open road.   So the diesel uses about 40% less fuel than the 8.1 liter.  If you do any amount of driving, it will pay for itself, vs the 8.1 liter gas engine, in maybe 75K miles, depending on fuel prices, and the diesel warrantee is 100K miles whereas the gas engine warrantee is much less. And I prefer the torque vs rpm characteristics of a diesel to that of a gas engine in every day driving. I tend to keep vehicles until they are ready for the scrap heap. Response:

why not buy the 8.1 liter?  The Duramax is a $5500 option.  The mileage increase with the diesel doesn’t justify the price in my book.  Unless you are going to drive alot or keep it forever you can buy an awful lot of fuel for $5500

Not that it won’t fit between the ‘rails on a suburban, the front ends of the ‘rails are the same as the pickups.  it’s that the engine/tranny won’t fit under the body. – Hide quoted text — Show quoted text ->Duramax in a suburban?  04. . .05 . . .when? >I have been looking at 4door p/u with diesel.  Wife really wants an SUV.  And I >can lose the bed, but hate to lose the Diesel.   >I know that the Diesel/Allison combo doses not fit between the frame rails on >the suburban?  Did not know if you guys knew of any rumors or gossip? >thanks

My 03 Sierra Denali has plastic side panels/fenders on the rear. It’s not a step-side in the usual sense; it has a full size bed but the fenders have to extend farther out than a normal Sierra to accomodate the 4 wheel steering, so it has wheel-well bulges like a stepside. No issues at all, except I find that I get bug splatters on the rear fender, something that never happened on my normal fleetside GMCs. I haven’t had it long enough to be sure that rocks won’t kick up and damage that fender as more time/miles go by. HMc

Derek, Semis have many fiberglass parts on them.  The bunk and cab are often aluminum, but the hoods and fenders are often times glass (Peterbilt still uses an aluminum hood on their 379).  They see more road use and harsh conditions in a year than most of our trucks will see in the whole time we own them. Hi there.. Thanks to everyone who replied on my previous post about Benzoyl Peroxide and Retin-A… I’ve got 2 more questions, again, any possible advice is much appreciated :) I’ve heard about salicylic acid (unsure of spelling) as being helpful against the formation of spots, but I haven’t a clue what products contain it.  Can anyone recommend any readily-available products in the UK that contain this? Secondly, can anyone recommend a good non-comedogenic moisturiser? Many thanks, Peter

Response:

cleansers in the "acne" section of your pharmacy will have it. Most cleaners for acne prone skin will have salicylic acid. I dont know if this is in the UK, but Neutrogena acne cleansers, and "Clean&Clear" brand from Johnson and Johnson brand has it too. Also, look for cleaners that hae "Beta Hydroxy", because that is just another name for Salicylic acid.

Hi Gary…Welcome to the group. I get the bladder infections, but the cultures do come out positive, unlike yours. I have learned over the years that this disease can cause soooo many other little (sometimes big) side things to go on too, especially with inflammation. As far as the weight goes….I am now on prednisone, so keeping weight on is not a problem. And when not on it, I just make sure I get my carbs and protein to try to help me from loosing too much. But there are always those times that no matter what I do or eat, nothing will put weight on me. Personally that is just the nature of the disease for me. I hope you find the answers you need, and that you are feeling good. Again, welcome to the group…this is a great place to be with alot of support and fun too :-) Lisa :-)

Have your drs done blood tests for mal absorptions and arthritis? I am talking about the vampire taking what seems to be all your blood 6-8 vials. I found that this helped with finding out about a lot of mal absorptions for me which helps to correct and help the bladder pressure.  Also I found that arthritis has attacked my lower back and the sacrialiac (sp) joint to which this Thursday I am getting a shot to see if they can get the inflamation out.  Also, to help relieve the pressure when you go to the bathroom next time have a fresh towel rolled up and push it into your tummy and bend downward and push to help evacuate your bladder to see if you can get it empty so the feelings come back to normal.  This works really good but it takes a while if your bladder is kind of numb feeling.  UM MOM Susan

Hello everyone!  I am new to this group… just started reading it tonight and I’ve alredy gotten some great information.  I’ve was diagnosed with Crohn’s in 1986 but have had problems since I was a teenager.  I’m now 40. I have two queries: 1) Lately, I’ve found the prior to a flare I have bladder-infection-like symptoms… pressure in the lower abdomen, urge to urinate often, slight stinging.  Every time I have the symptoms, I go to my Primary Care Dr. for a culture and or course, it’s always negative.  I’ve also been to a Urologist and to my G.E. but nobody knows what’s going on/  These symptoms tend to last 3-5 days and then slowly subside while the flare picks up.  So I’m wondering if these symptoms ring true with anyone else?  I’m starting to wonder whether it has to do with the gas/pressure build-up in the section of the intestine that passes closest to the bladder causing undo pressure on the bladder. 2) Activity has been pretty high lately and am having a tough time keeping my weight on.  I’m already pretty thin (6 feet, 145 lbs normally, 140 lbs now) so I want to try to get some weight back on while not inflaming things any more than they are.  I’m wondering what others have done to help maintain weight.  I’m currently trying a high-protein powder but haven’t noticed any change… but fortunately it also doesn’t seem to be causing any intensified symptoms. I’m currently taking Entocort (9 Mg) and Immuran (150 Mg) each day.  I have an occasional Remicade infusion, but it’s been a year since the last and my G.E. has been hesitant to prescribe more, although I think cost is his primary reason :-(  Have also taken both Asacol and Azulfadine, but unfortunatly seem to build up an intolerance to both after about 3 months. Thanks again to all of you for the info that’s already in this group and in advance to any help you might be able to provide for my questions. -Gary

If you drink a glass of water, and then don’t feel tired– I GUESS IT’S THE PLACEBO EFFECT. —

Hi Pam,  Its no wonder your having problems.  Yes—Stress does have a direct effect on RA.  All three of my RDs said so and I have seen it in my own life with RA.  I am sorry to have to say this but your husband needs his ass whoopped for not keeping your life together a WE-teamwork deal and the direct cause of some of your problems.  Somehow you must make him understand that you and your RA cannot be treated that way.  I am stepping way out of bounds and I have a rolled up newspaper ready for you to slap me upside the head but with RA as smooth and stress free lifestyle is a must A MUST. The Rheumatologist that I’m going to told me that RA almost always starts in the fingers and hands…BUT NOT in the first joints in the fingers..I don’t know what those joints are called but they are the joints nearest the nail….  Trixie

Hi, I have had surgery on both of my hands.  I have had Rhemitiod Arthritis for 20 years, I am 38 years old and have had many sugeries.  I had a tendon rupture in my left hand.  My doctor told me when my finger is just hanging down you will know your tendon has broken.  Which that happened.  I had sugery and it went very well.  Also you should proably go to the doctors yourself and get your hands checked out. Hi Trixie,  Not with me.  My RA started in my shoulders.  A shoulder caused me to go to my first RD.  Its true that not long after that is was in my hands and knees.  I know that when my feet were active with RA,  they were  the worst and most painful of all.  I am soooo thankful that when they calmed down, they have stayed that way. Of course, it could also be another kind of arthritis, too.  These joints are typically involved first in PA, and are used to help in the diagnosis.  (not that it couldn’t be RA too… gotta leave that to the doc’s) Best regards, LadyAndy2

Hi Krissy and group, Yep, I am with you on the "last joint of finger" thing.  I have some-(3,) that are getting larger.  My RA is really being negative right now!!  This July will be 3 years of HELL  I have tried to report any good timespans on this group, but they have been few and FAR in between.  My Rumey is great.  We sometimes don’t see eye to eye, but overall the relationship is good.  She is threating to send me to Mayo. My first response to his  surprise, " I hope you built an extra large one, cause you are going to be living in it." I know that stress is not good for RA.  Can it trigger it initally?   Does RA make you more prone to heart problems?  I had the muscles in my chest get funky last weekend.  It felt like a pulled muscle on both side of the sterum for about 3 days.  I could hardly breath without a wet, jagged knife stabbing me.  After talking to our counsler, she felt it was an anxitey attack.  The day after my husband left for London, it went away….   I probably need to be in the anxitey newsgroup.  I just love you guys more!!! Response:

Hiya gang! Alrighty I have two questions. And I know someone can answer them! #1. This is regarding my Grandmother. She is 68 years old and the most stubborn person I have ever met before in my entire life. Several years ago, she had trigger finger in the middle finger of her right hand. Never saw a dr about it, well now it is fixed in that position. She showed me today where the tendon is raised alot on the palm of her hand. Can’t help you with #1, but #2 is familiar. I am also experiencing these changes Krissy.  For a while, when it started, I questioned my diagnosis.  But, both drdoc and Dr. Susan assured me that this does happen in RA – I believe they said 30% of RA patients have involvement in these joints. My RD was skeptical at first and looked for some other explanation.  Now he agrees that it is the RA.  After arguing about it and disagreeing with drdoc and Dr. Susan two visits ago, last week he looked at them and said, "yes, they are progressing as expected with RA."  I almost hit him!  So, I guess hand surgery will be in my future too, but not soon. It is only a minor annoyance now, compared to my feet, hips, elbow, etc…… Walt

Trixie

Response:

Hi, I have had surgery on both of my hands.  I have had Rhemitiod Arthritis for 20 years, I am 38 years old and have had many sugeries.  I had a tendon rupture in my left hand.  My doctor told me when my finger is just hanging down you will know your tendon has broken.  Which that happened.  I had sugery and it went very well.  Also you should proably go to the doctors yourself and get your hands checked out. Good Luck, Cheriese 4

Not all members of Starr’s staff have been documented in the Press, but some number have. There is a particularly nasty son of a bitch named Ewing I believe who Starr picked up in the Memphis US prosecutor’s office. The New Yorker has been good reporting this, especially in regard to Susan McDougal. As for the Dem party donor, he’s a Dem party donor, Hollywood I think, and as I recall the boyfriend of Lewinsky’s mother, but I might be misremembering. In any case, the guy was documented. The NY Times was good here. Just because you missed it, or didn’t pay attention, does not mean the Press has not been doing its job. It takes two — one to report, the other to read. When the Press has been reporting but you haven’t been reading, fairness demands that you knock yourself, not the Press. Now. this Blaly is appearing as Starr’s spokesman and nobody gives him any  more identity than that! After doing some serious research on who they all were…reading daily NYT, Washington Post,,, Chi Tribune (because Starr,Marcus,Hyde, the House Judiciary Repub Lawyer have ties in Chicago law firms and Hyde in DePage )..Wall Street Journal etc etc and many mags/columnists…scouring the internet, I found very little about them..only a few with bios. Response:

On throttle body injections like the one on your truck, something called "speed density" is used.  The computer is setup to determine fuel deliver based on MAP (manifold absolute pressure–vacuum), TPS(throttle position sensor), CTS (coolant temp sensor), and Oxygen Sensosor.  With speed density, I’m assuming, GM figured out how to deliver fuel based on factors without IAT.  It’s all in the engineering.  If "there is more than one way to skin a cat" there is "more than one way to figure out how to inject fuel into an engine and make it run". On some vehicles I’ve seen where IAT is subtle input for fuel delivery, and on other vehicles I’ve seen where it is a critical input for determining fuel delivery.  For example, in some foreign cars with early TBI injection, the Oxygen sensor was a subtle input, where as long as I can remember oxygen sensors in GM’s have always been a crucial input for fuel delivery…. So long story short, to answer your question, NO would be the answer to anything "similar to IAT". Is this more clear now???? No, like bret said, the TBI is a ‘Speed Density’ system. Fuel map is calculated from Manifold vacume, and RPM’s. Intake air temp and density is not measured like in the later Vortex’s. OK, THAT made no sense at all to me. Anything similar to the IAT?

in this instance, the 4×4 is not the "K" he was looking for, it is the VIN code for the 5.7 TBI engine.  IAT is Intake Air Temp, right?  96+ Vortec’s have them,  TBI motors do not. I’d say since the TBI is a MAP based system, air temp isn’t as important as in a MAF based system. -Bret – Hide quoted text — Show quoted text -> I am checking out all of the sensors and or relays that feed the brain of > this thing. I have a 95 GMC Sierra 4×4 with the 350 motor. I can’t seem to locate the IAT sensor, where the heck is it supposed to be?  The manual just describes it, but dosen’t give you an exact location… Any one help? — Whenever I feel blue, I start breathing again.

Your 350 should be a throttle body (TBI) injected 350 right (eighth digit of your VIN is a K)??  If it is, from what I know there isn’t an IAT sensor. Those or more "typical" on Multi-Port injection.  Can I ask why you are trying to find it???  Did you pull flash codes by grounding the DLC?? (jumper A-B)  I’ve read flash codes and then went to a generic GM Code Chart and have been mislead before..  Hope this helps… Nick – Hide quoted text — Show quoted text -> I have a 95 GMC Sierra 4×4 with the 350 motor. I am checking out all of the sensors and or relays that feed the brain of this thing. After 120,000 miles, I want to make sure everything is reading what it should and that the computer isn’t compensating or "just inside range" on some of the values. Just a bug I got on and wanted to follow through. Yes, it does have the TBI and yes, it is a 4×4, so that means it has the K designation. Are you sure there is not an IAT? What would replace it or what other readings does the brain pull from?
