I had a 1995 short bed S10 with 2.2 engine, manual trans, LS trim, and no air conditioning.  It weighed about 2950 pounds.  A 4.3 automatic with AC would probably weigh 3200 or so.

My S15 extended cab w/2.8l says 1500lbs on the registration.  I don’t know how accurate that is but it give you a ballpark figure. — TREAD Online! Cycle Magazine – Authoring & Image Scanning.   http://tread.pair.com/ – http://tread.pair.com/treadpub/.
