Need Brake Pad Advice
Question:
I am replacing my worn out front brake pads on my 2WD GMC Sonoma and would sincerely appreciate any advice/opinions as to the best type/brand to get. Thanks for your help.
Response:
Get Raybestos or whatever Parts America sells. Seems they carry better quality parts than Auto Zone does. But get a price list from Auto Zone first, Parts America matches price even when the lower price is on an inferior product. That’s the way it works at the location near me. – Hide quoted text — Show quoted text – > I am replacing my worn out front brake pads on my 2WD GMC Sonoma and > would sincerely appreciate any advice/opinions as to the best type/brand > to get. > Thanks for your help.
Response:
Use either OEM or Try Performance Friction Carbon Metallic
Response:
The only thing I don’t like about Carbom Metallic brake pads is the black soot that is almost impossible to wash off those fancy aluminum wheels… David aka DAJAVU – Hide quoted text — Show quoted text – > Use either OEM or Try Performance Friction Carbon Metallic

If you want the best, get carbon-kevlar pads from Porterfield Racing in southern California. They’re a bit more expensive, but there is no doubt they’re the best. — – Lifespeed
