Question:

Hi all *** I am very sorry about the length of this message but i included only important stuff.*** I own a 1995 G.M.C Sonoma Vortec ( V.I.N — W) 4.3, CPI,  2X4, Auto. 100000 m The car starts fine but after about 30 sec when the RPM drop under the 1000 it makes a spitting noise from the exaust about every 30 sec As cold as the engine is the closer are the spitting — when it is erly in the morning about 10 Degrees C it is spitting all the time untill the engine worms up. -When RPM is above 1000 the car works fine with no missfires. -When the engine gets into working temp the missfire accures while idiling about every minute (one spit — missfire) -When idiling for about 10-15 minutes it seems like it becames worse. -When driving everithing is fine no stalling and no power problem. -When accelarating hard (all the way) especialy around 30 MPH it hesitate about 3 sec before shifting doun and 2 more sec to Fly like it use to do. *Once early in the morning i got a TC300 " Rendom missfire". **Replaced Disstrebuter cap, rotor, ignition wires and PCV —None helped. ***Made 100000 maintainence (oil, filters, gear etc). ****Replacet spark plugs—The hesitation semm to disapeer for few days and came back <<<<<< *****Replaced EGR — seems to have more pickup but that is all. ******Checked : TPS, IAC,Cranckshft sensor and IAT. *******Replaced timing chain. >about 2 monthes before the problem begain i had a leak in one of the heater

pipes that spreid directly on the disstrebuter >about 1 monthes before the problem begain I had a leak inside the car from

the heater core and replaced it (Dash remove ETC…) >> about 2 monthes before the problem begain i have rplaced a fuel pump

because it was sticking from time to time. The car was in 5 different shops and didnt solve it. Thank you for reading. Please help. Asaf

Pull the top off the intake, look at were the CPI injector sets in the intake, if it looks too clean on one side or both sides, replace the CPI unit. It will leak and cause this type of problem. – Hide quoted text — Show quoted text – > Hi all > *** I am very sorry about the length of this message but i included only > important stuff.*** > I own a 1995 G.M.C Sonoma Vortec ( V.I.N — W) 4.3, CPI,  2X4, Auto. 100000 > m > The car starts fine but after about 30 sec when the RPM drop under the 1000 > it makes a spitting noise from the exaust about every 30 sec > As cold as the engine is the closer are the spitting — when it is erly in > the morning about 10 Degrees C it is spitting all the time untill the engine > worms up. > -When RPM is above 1000 the car works fine with no missfires. > -When the engine gets into working temp the missfire accures while idiling > about every minute (one spit — missfire) > -When idiling for about 10-15 minutes it seems like it becames worse. > -When driving everithing is fine no stalling and no power problem. > -When accelarating hard (all the way) especialy around 30 MPH it hesitate > about 3 sec before shifting doun and 2 more sec to Fly like it use to do. > *Once early in the morning i got a TC300 " Rendom missfire". > **Replaced Disstrebuter cap, rotor, ignition wires and PCV —None helped. > ***Made 100000 maintainence (oil, filters, gear etc). > ****Replacet spark plugs—The hesitation semm to disapeer for few days and > came back <<<<<< > *****Replaced EGR — seems to have more pickup but that is all. > ******Checked : TPS, IAC,Cranckshft sensor and IAT. > *******Replaced timing chain. >about 2 monthes before the problem begain i had a leak in one of the heater > pipes that spreid directly on the disstrebuter >>about 1 monthes before the problem begain I had a leak inside the car from > the heater core and replaced it (Dash remove ETC…) >>> about 2 monthes before the problem begain i have rplaced a fuel pump > because it was sticking from time to time. > The car was in 5 different shops and didnt solve it. > Thank you for reading. > Please help. > Asaf
