2000 Sonoma
Question:
I just purchased a used 2000 Sonoma, 4.3L, automatic, no cap or bed cover and stock tires with 17,000 miles on it. What gas mileage should I expect? BTW it’s a California vehicle. Thanks, Doug

I have a ‘99 S-10 regular cab with the 4300 V-6 and consistently get about 17 mpg -John

Do you have a 4×4. Our Astro with the 4.3 typically averages about 18 with town/highway driving. Of course . . . . . . come to think of it, that’s probably with my wife driving it most of the time. Only time I drive it for a full tank is on a sales trip, most all highway and I usually get about 19mpg. Maybe I wouldn’t do to good around town either. . . hmm.
