Which Heavy Duty Bumper for 2001 Sierra 1500?

Question:

I am currently searching for a replacement bumper for my ‘01 GMC Sierra 1500 (4×4, ext cab, short bed, NOT HD) for the following reasons:  - I want a sturdier bumper in general  - I will eventually mount a winch on it  - Provides some extra clearance in front of the tire  - Looks good! I am looking for a model that is solid and will have the winch mount hidden.  It should also have brushguards, tow hooks, and mounting points for extra lights. So far I have found some prospects at the following: http://buckstop.biz http://www.eaglecarriage.com/bumpers.htm http://www.reddingco.com/ http://supercraftinc.com/default.asp Does anyone have any other suggestions/recommendations? Also, I am planning on a Rancho 4" suspension lift mainly to accomodate the extra weight and give myself some more offroad capability – should the lift be done before or after installing the bumper? (I am really not too interested in just an add-on brushguard/winchcarrier)

Response:

If you want a really good bumper you should check out Reunel bumpers at www.reunel.com.  They are good bumpers, but they come with a big price tag. Matt
