Sierra c3 & Plain Sierra

Can someone tell me if the driver information center found in the new Yukon and Sierra C3 can be put in a 2001 GMC Sierra (Non c3) and also, will the CD Changer from those trucks plug into the head unit of the plain Sierra? Thanks John

I assume you are referring to the driver info center in the Yukon Denali and not just a normal Yukon which doesn’t have any special info center. The answer is no, it can’t be plugged into a regular Sierra. There are other components that it talks to that are different in a regular Sierra. As for the CD changer, I don’t know the answer to that one..
