Check your warranty! Headers and Superchip will probably void your warranty, the K&N will not. The Cat Back should not unless you screw with the converter. — — 98 Camaro

Response:
I thought he was talking about a blazer s-10 which doesn’t have a v-8.

An aftermarket part will not void your warrantee unless it can be specifically proven to have caused the failure. Example, if you put headers on and your radio dies, they can’t deny the warranty claim. Response:
Straight swap? From the sound of that website that showed it being done you had to shoe horn the thing and move the radiator and still you could barely close the hood.

Drop in a 350. Straight swap for the most part and more rewarding if you find a block in good shape on the cheap.
Response:
Not when I have 18k miles and 2 years still left on my extended warranty. Currently looking at headers, K&N air intake/filter, cat back exhaust, and a "Superchip". E

Response:
First I’d recommend getting a K&N air filter then a better exhaust like Borla or Flowmaster are always good choices. Then get a Hypertech programmer to reprogram your computer. But do not get the under drive pulleys or you’ll regret it in the long run. Then you could always replace the clutch fan with an electric fan and gain some good ponies that way to. Maverick

Why not the pulleys? What is the reasoning? Won’t the fan only get you 2 more hp? Is it worth it?

Response:
makes a cold air induction kit for aroun$250, headers if you want to spend the money for exhaust, and a chip will get you the most power gains. Bandit

I get to give this speech again?! When will people learn. Ever been in a traffic jam???? Change the pulleys and watch your volt meter as the battery dies, you A/C hardly works, power steering to not work as it should, and your water pump is moving far less water than it would at a time when it is needed most. In addition, your air pump is moving to slow to pass emissions tests. I will say it again and again and again, the person who decided to market these to the general public is a complete idiot and should be shot. There is little gain UNTIL very high RPM’s (6-7k) when the pulleyes help stop water pump cavitation. If you are pushing that many RPM’s on a regular basis for a street car, you might as well have changed the CAM, for you will have to rebuild the engine anyway. The negatives associated with the HP pulleys far out weigh the POTENTIAL benefit if you vehicle is NOT intended for drag. If its your drag car, get them, I would recommend them, otherwise flip to the next page. — — 98 Camaro
