Mirrior Replacement
Question:
I have a 96 GMC Sierra with power mirrors. I clipped another vehicle breaking the passenger side glass. Is there replacement glass I can use, or will I have to replace the whole assembly?

yes you can replace just the mirror glass I work in windsheild and body shop and we do all the time.We just have precuts clean old mirror off from plastic backing and urethane( Windshield adhesive) new on. tape the glass and leave tape on glass 4 24hrs. good luck – Hide quoted text — Show quoted text -> I have a 96 GMC Sierra with power mirrors. Hi, A professional auto glass shop can replace the glass for about $30. Otherwise, if you go to a Pep Boys type place, you can also buy a piece of mirror glass that you cut yourself and stick to the site of the original glass.
