LT1 swap into GMC Sierra

Question:

Assuming you have the 2d generation LT1 of course, the bolt patterns should be the same. AC-Delco part numbers show the same from ‘69-’96. In order to get the LT1 performance you’re going to have to do some serious reprogramming with the ECU. Additionally, your distributor must be made compatible with the LT1 specs. The only remaining drawback is your 305 TBI system. This will prove to be a hindrance to performance.
