loose mirrors
Question:
My 1996 GMC Sierra has remote adjustable side view mirrors which seem to vibrate when the vehicle is in motion. The movable platform on which each mirror rotates is what seems to be loose. Is there any way to tighten this platform and thus stop the mirrors from vibrating? Thanks.

Are these mirrors the same style as on the Tahoes and Suburbans? If so, look on the underside of the mirror and you will see three screw heads. They will need to be tightened but you will need a TORX screwdriver, I don’t remember the size I think it was T-20.
