Change my auto lokers to part timers?
Question:
I have seen a lot about changing my automatic hubs to part time lockers….what is involved and is it worth it in wear and tear and / or mileage? I have a 95 GMC Sierra 4×4 pickup….

That’s the first thing I do when I get a new rig. Warn makes an easy to install kit. You basically unbolt the old, and bolt on the new. Then you know 100% that the hubs are locked in.

OK, so it is easy to do…what about any savings on wear and tear? Mileage? drag on the drivetrain, etc???
