'88 GM Sierra
Question:
Hi I’m new to this group and was wondering if someone could help me I just bought an 88 GMC Sierra Sl and was wondering what people could tell me about this truck?, ways to improve gas milage(i’m a poor student) and things I should look out for. any info would be appreciated Thanks in advance Frazer

i have a 89 chevy k-1500 and you are stuck with poor gas milage. I put in a K&N air filter and a new exhaust to help and it did to a extent. these are good trucks and I have been happy so far except for the paint. My paint is peeling and I am sueing GM in March. hope ou enjoy your truck email me if you have any questions

Good luck on your paint suit! I also have an 88 Sierra, mine is a 2500 extended cab, close to 200k miles on it so far. Definetely a good vehicle. My paint also peeled, as I am sure you know by know, this was a general problem. When I went to the dealer to get it fixed, I was like 4 months past the cut off date and had to fix it myself.
