2001 GMC Sierra C3

Question:

Anyone own a 2001 C3? If so, what do you think. Pros/cons? Would you buy one again? Have you found a place for aftermarket "stuff"? Any tips or suggestions? Out the door price? Thanks in advance! — Tony Caivano

Have you checked out pickup truck.com? http://forums.pickuptruck.com/cgi-bin/Ultimate.cgi There are several C3 owners over there.  Do a search back through the threads – Mike – Hide quoted text — Show quoted text -> Anyone own a 2001 C3? The Sierra C3 is pretty cool because it has 300 HP.  The only down side is that it only comes with an extended cab and AWD.  Those two thing together add a lot of weight.  My Silverado 1500 could beat one off the line since it doesn’t have those things. – Hide quoted text — Show quoted text -> Anyone own a 2001 C3? I consider the extended cab to be a positive.  That is the main problem I have with the Ford Lightning — lack of an extended cab to make the truck more economical.  The C3, from what I have heard/read (which is not much), seems to be a very slick truck.  But it really is personal choice.
