Is it me or did chevy outsource their ‘03 front end design to a bunch a crack heads.

I agree, it’s pretty ugly. Looks like an "angry face" with the headlights slanted inwards. Boooooooo.

I thought the new body style (99 on) was ugly up front, like on my ‘01, but the ‘03 is hideous. I told my wife I will not be buying another chevy until they change the front again. I have driven Chevys only for the last several vehicles, but I still think Ford has the best looking truck on the road…..that would be their 3/4ton ext cab long bed 4wd. I think Chevy is taking this car-like truck thing too far.

Is this a chevy bash thing or what….. I have an 03 chevy and I absolutely love it…. I was just like you at first. It took a whole day to get the Idea of it…. I am just glad its not the same as the avalanche with the confused headlight arrangement.. The front end is the exact same as the new cadillac want to be truck except for the grill and lights. The hood and grill opening area is exactly the same dimensions.. You could take the cadillac escalade lights and grill and it would fit perfectly. But anyway I think it is a very sharp looking vehicle. Roy

Many of us own older trucks as well, some of us dislike change, and to voice these those dislikes we exercise our First Ammendement Rights in the order of Free Speech. Your 2003 (we’re dying to learn which model) I’m certain is an absolute corker. Perhaps you can tell us more about it. It’s similar to June, 1996 when the new Ford F-150 body stayle came out and was quickly awarded :Ugly Truck of the Year"; and now commonplace and the most dated bodystyle of the Big Three. about….. My last chevy fullsize was an 1979 scottsdale stepside Big10. I absolutely love that truck. Actually still have it…. I know if you know this truck, that chevy has changed alot is the past years… By thge way its Roy Cindy doesn’t have a clue about what we are talking about….. ROY
