Water Temperature Gauge
Question:
I just bought a 94 GMC Safari. The temperature gauge seems to be a little high. What is the average? Mine is at about three quarters over…about a quarter from the red area. Thanks for any insight. * Sent from RemarQ http://www.remarq.com The Internet’s Discussion Network * The fastest and easiest way to search and participate in Usenet – Free!

I think that before I started to get to worried about this problem, I would do a good flush job on the cooling system along with new antifreeze and see what happens from there…. Response:
Most of the time the thermostat is something like 180-195F. Should stay in that range unless you’re in a traffic jam or pulling a heavy load or something similar. — Robert Hancock Saskatoon, SK, Canada Home Page: http://members.home.net/hancockr
