Ever buy from….

Question:

90% of the cars sold at these places are end of life rental cars and if they were driven anywhere near how I drive a rental car then 30,000 on the odometer = about 120,000 in a regular car :-) just a word of advice go down to your local GM dealer and see what kind of trade-ins they have you have a much better chance of getting a good deal. – Hide quoted text — Show quoted text —— Original Message —– Newsgroups: alt.autos.gm Sent: Saturday, March 06, 1999 10:11 AM >Howdy Folks! >I’m looking to buy a new vehicle, Chevy Astro, GMC Safari, Buick >Century, or something, I’m not really sure yet.  I can’t afford a new >car so I’m considering something one to two years old. >My question is for those who may have bought from one of the following >companies:  Enterprise rental, Car Max or Auto Nation.  How did things >go for you?  Were  you satisfied with the deal you got, etc. >Any feedback would be appreciated. >Take Care, Zack Jones >Howdy Folks! >Take Care, Zack Jones

Careful of the ‘98 Astros and Safaris.  My ‘98 Astro is the subject of a Lemon Law dispute in Florida.  Front end sucks.  Wore out two left front tires in less than 11,000 miles although Chevy had it in for service four times.  It appears that factory trained technicians cannot get it aligned properly. – Hide quoted text — Show quoted text – > Howdy Folks! > I’m looking to buy a new vehicle, Chevy Astro, GMC Safari, Buick > Century, or something, I’m not really sure yet.  I can’t afford a new > car so I’m considering something one to two years old. > My question is for those who may have bought from one of the following > companies:  Enterprise rental, Car Max or Auto Nation.  How did things > go for you?  Were  you satisfied with the deal you got, etc. > Any feedback would be appreciated. > Take Care, Zack Jones

Howdy Folks! I’m looking to buy a new vehicle, Chevy Astro, GMC Safari, Buick Century, or something, I’m not really sure yet.  I can’t afford a new car so I’m considering something one to two years old. My question is for those who may have bought from one of the following companies:  Enterprise rental, Car Max or Auto Nation.  How did things go for you?  Were  you satisfied with the deal you got, etc. Any feedback would be appreciated.
