Auto-door locks on 99' Safari SLE

Question:

I have a ‘99 GMC Safari SLE with power locks. Does any one know if it is possible to have the doors automatically lock on their own? My Plymouth Voyager would lock the doors once you reached 25kmh. I don’t want to start a major thread on the pros/cons of auto-doors lock, just would like to know. I asked my dealership today and they didn’t have a clue. Thanks! Patrick.

Response:

Install a Viper alarm system, mine locks in thirty seconds of the last door closeing, it also unlock only the drivers door, then the rest when I push the second button. this was to prevent anyone from slipping in the backside with out my wife seeing them at night,  it can also be set to lock the doors when put into drive,  but I did not have this done, too much of a hassle for me.  ran about $300 dollars installed.  G – Hide quoted text — Show quoted text -> I have a ‘99 GMC Safari SLE with power locks.
