Programming a spare remote for 2000 GMC Jimmy GM/UTA 15732805
Question:
I have a 2000 GMC Jimmy and I bought a spare remote off Ebay with the part number 15732805. I need to program it for my truck. Does anyone know the sequence for programming it? I was told the dealer should do this for free or for a "nominal" charge, but they will charge me $20 and that is not nominal for something that I can do myself. I would prefer you do not post a response telling me to take it to the dealer, please only respond if you know the programming sequence and are willing to share. I will also accept the information via email if you are a mechanic who doesnt want to give away any secrets in a public forum….lol. Thanks Joe
