Thanks for clicking on me. I just bought an 89 full-size Jimmy SLE, with a 350 (I hope).  Anyway I was wondering where to start.  How can I find out if this 350 has a 4 bolt main, what transfer case/tranny do I have (It’s an auto with OD), what gears do I have, etc.  All I know is that I definitely have a Corp 10 bolt in the rear and I think the same up front. I am wanting to get a 14 bolt or a Dana 60 for the rear and a Dana 44 or 60 for the front, Detroit in the back, Limited Slip up front, 38" tires, a cast iron NP 205, and once I find out how to do it, I want to use an air conditioner compressor to make my tube bumper into an off road tool runner/tire filler.  Any help of any kind will be most appreciated.  I am new to this, but I have been dreaming owning a 4×4 like this for years and now I don’t want anything to stop me, unfortunately I am an idiot when it comes to auto knowledge, so I need your help. Please, and thanks.
