Just replace the wheel hub. Was howling loadly and could feel grinding. Jimmy only had 150,000 KM on it (about 90,000 miles). Not a overly hard job with the right tools but holy crap… Bearing was $560 from the dealer…each. Ended up getting it wholesale from a parts place locally for $240. Derek 99 GMC Jimmy

My neighbor puts a lot of miles on his (GMC) and has had this problem twice, not sure if he has a "00" or an "01". GM never covered his repairs. Al
