What is a fair price?

My father in law is getting ready to sell his 89 GMC and we were trying to get a fair asking price. The truck is: 89 GMC Pickup 4 x 4 extra cab 350 motor auto trans bed liner 5 th. wheel hitch reciever hitch hood and roof need painting (Bad factory paint) Only 52,000 miles Thanks for any thoughts
