Mileage is a rate of consumption. This shouldn’t change much whether the tank is full or empty. Range is another story though. The Range drops of sharply when the needle points to E.

LMFAO…..I’m glad you have a good one… You have no idea how many Chevy diesels have went through my uncles shop. He’s replaced 5, twice on two different trucks. Ok…if your 6.5 is sooo great then why isn’t in production anymore? Why did they discard it like bad rubbish? Ok..Life and performance dept. Can your 6.5 match this? 245 horse 505 ft/lbs of torque and last for 450k miles before rebuild? Cummins engines can and have many many times! does your 6.5 have a 100k mile warrenty from the engine manufacturer? Cummins does. Is your engine a medium duty engine? Cummins is. Can your 6.5, with a certain added program and hardware go for 525k miles before an oil change? Does your 6.5 have a relativly flat torque and horsepower curve? Cummins does. Is your 6.5 installed in only PU trucks or is in installed in construction equiptment, tractors, medium duty pickups, tub boats? Cummins has alot in all of them. Do you want me to go on? I can. — Lee 99 Flame Red Grand Prix GT Buick F-bar STB Pioneer DEH-P8000R, Alpine MRV757, Alpine 12" Type R, 2 12" RF Punch XLC’s, Stinger 1 Farad Cap. – Hide quoted text — Show quoted text – > I have a 94 GMC 1 ton dually 4X4 with the 6.5 and love it!
