Once again, a headlight question from me.
Question:
I have been asking way too much about how I can fix my flip-up headlights on my ‘82 Firebird. This time I want to know the location of the relays and the fusable links. Please be specific if you can, I’m an idiot. THANX. Michael Sayers
Response:
a Shop Manual will have all that and the wiring color codes as well… go to a GM dealer and see if they can get you one. – Hide quoted text — Show quoted text -> I have been asking way too much about how I can fix my flip-up headlights on > my ‘82 Firebird. One relay behind the battery, front left (as if sitting in the car) and one on each headlight door motor. The fusable links, (there are two) are locate in a small wiring harness running along the bottom of the left fender well. They should look like a small loop of wire that looks as if its been pulled slightly out of the harness. — SMaster ‘72 Rally Nova Sunchaser 350 4spd – 23k – Purchased 8/3/72 ‘85 Z28 305 TPI 700R4 – 108k – Salvaged from a farmers field! ‘89 GMC SLX w/’87 350 GTA/TPI 700R4 B&M Megashifter, Flowmasters, AutoMeter, lowered 3" – 85k (This truck is a blast to drive!)
