need engine code help
Question:
I am not sure what engine this is and here is the codes, from the pass. side front of the block. Im sure its a 350 but would like to know what year and is there a way to tell if its a 4bolt main from the codes, the motor is alread built up and done when we bought the 32 coupe. 190177314 0225HV thanks for any help paul — http://drive.to/pauls_ford

Paul, You want to get the casting # off the top of the block, at the rear of the head on the DRIVERS side. That number will tell you if you have 4 bolt mains or not.
