You’re the kind of customer I love…a person that actually reads the owners manual. It’s surprising the info that’s in there, isn’t it? On the Harley group there’s an abbreviation for it: RTFM ,or "read the f***in’ manual" Big Daddy ICQ#6342575 ASE Master Auto Technician Chevrolet Certified Master Tech.

Hi all. First let me apologize to all those who tried to help me in getting a new tierod. I didn’t realize that the WHOLE tierod is made on to the driver’s side tierod end. I thought that the rod itself was not a replaceable part. I’ll be sure to get off my ass and actually look at the parts next time
I installed a 6in. lift on my "79 Chevy 4×4. Now I need to find extended length brake hoses that go from the frame to the front brake calipers, and the one hose for the rear axle too. Anyone know where I can find these extended hoses??
