Help finding parts

Question:

Hey Group, I’m getting ready to restore a 1954 GMC 5-window 1/2 ton. I need to find a bed, it’s too far gone to restore to factory specs. Anybody know of either a site where I can find such parts, or a place somewhere in the state of Ohio that sells old parts? Thanks, Jason Nelson

Response:

Start with the Junkyards in your area, and buy a hemmings or some other swap-meet type of catalog/magazine and go from there. Sam

Try http://www.chevytrucks.org/general/links.htm they list a number of sites. For new stuff: LMC, brothers or chevy duty are known.
