Fuel System
Question:
Anybody got a source for a fuel tank,fuel sending unit, for an 89 GMC full size k1500 4wd pu,other than a GM dealer. Thery want like 300 for tank and 250 for sending unit(which I need as the pipes and connections are rotted away) I think tank hold 36 gallons Rodd

I think 20/20 might have some left over from that documentary they did on exploding Chevy trucks? Seriously though, have you tried the wrecking yards, or J.C. Whitney?

Been there…. Forget the dealer and get an entire tank with sending unit and pump for $100 from a auto recycling yard (junkyard). Good luck.
