A truck
Question:
A friend of mine has a 79 Chevy 3/4 ton and these guys are right. Most parts are readily available at any parts store. the 350 is a strong motor and is also easy to get parts for build up or repair. You really want to try and go with a 3/4 ton because the axles are a little bigger and stronger than a 1/2 ton. Aside from some rust its a pretty durable truck. He’s gotten me and my Jeep out of a few jams before. That’s not to say I haven’t saved his butt a few times either. Oh by the way, If your planning on doing some serious mudding, I strongly recommend against BF goodrich MT (mud terrain). It’s an $800 mistake my friend wont soon forget. Andy 85 XJ
