97 GMC truck keyless entry
Question:
I have a 97 GMC Z71 and i have put brand new bateries in the remote and it still hardly works at all. Does anyone know where the truck picks the signal up at or what the problem might be?

It may be the contacts in the transmitter. Open it up and use an eraser or a contact cleaner.
