Response:
An 88 S-10 allowed me to jumper a pair of pins and count the check-engine light – is ther a simple way of doing this on a 96 Sonoma? On the 96 GMC Sonoma the pin-B is missing from the ALDL jack (does the pin exist somewhere else?). The ALDL to PC readers appear to be such a pain in the ass for such a simple thing.
Response:
the simplest way is to go to an Autozone or similar store and have them pull your codes. otherwise you need to purchase a scanner. – Hide quoted text — Show quoted text – > An 88 S-10 allowed me to jumper a pair of pins and count the > check-engine light – is ther a simple way of doing this on a 96 Sonoma? > On the 96 GMC Sonoma the pin-B is missing from the ALDL jack (does the > pin exist somewhere else?). > The ALDL to PC readers appear to be such a pain in the ass for such a > simple thing.
