$2000 budget
Question:
Ok all heres the deal, I have an 86 gmc Suburban, 350 700r4 4×4 with the barn doors. The engine is fresh with only 25 thousand on it. Its time to start playing with this truck. I would like your ideas and opinions as to what to do with this truck with a 2000 dollar budget. I know the lift kit will set me back 500 so what else should I do, I mainly use this truck for street use but I also get it very muddy due to my job. So what would be good modifications. Thank you

wheels & tires for sure. I’m running BFG A/T KO ’s 265×75x16 and I love’m. good for street and are pretty rugged off road. I’ve gone through some pretty soupy stuff with these, and they hold the rocks ok. The side walls seem to be tuff, no complaints. Lots of marks, no hole or rips. REALLY good in the snow. I like them, buts thats me. Although there is some rubbing on the a frames. stock rims – no off set. Rims – what ever turns you on. since your mostly street some trick aluminums would turn heads.
