		<description>About the engine noise.....I have a 2001 6 liter 2500HD with a noticable knock at idle as well.  It dose it moslty when it&#039;s cold.  I have been told that they are famous for the noise and that it is caused by piston slap.....</description>

		<description>actually you have several options:  you can take the idler off and re-grease/ repack the bearing with special high viscosity and high temp.grease about $8 cdn(thick), or you can replace the factory sealed bearing about $11 cdn or replace the whole thing for $30 DIYS  * nut is metric and is usually a reverse thread so don&#039;t try and turn it counterclockwise as with a standard bolt or you will break it off-$320 fix - it has to go clockwise to OFF done it all three ways even broke my first one !!! Cheere</description>
